You have an entrance ticket or a discount coupon / voucher that is valid between 13 March 2020 and 19 May 2020. Can you use this entrance ticket after its expiry date?
Yes. Exceptionally, you will be able to use your entrance ticket or discount coupon / voucher until 31 December 2020 inclusive, after exchanging it at the museum cash desk.
You have reserved a Discovery Combi (formerly called “B-Excursion SNCB”) for a visit to Train World between 13 March 2020 and the date when the confinement period ends. What should you do?

Would you like to plan a school or a group visit to Train World?
School or group visits are now allowed again (maximum 20 people). Please contact our booking service for further information. They can be contacted at email@example.com.
Can you have something to eat or drink at the brasserie?
Not for the moment. Brasserie RN Express is closed in accordance with the advice of the federal authorities.
How do you buy a ticket online?
Click on this link and follow these steps:
1. Click on “Individual tickets”
2. Select a date and a time slot.
3. Select the number of tickets you want per tariff.
4. Click on “Add to shopping cart”
5. Then, click on “Continue”
6. Confirm your order and pay for your ticket(s)
Is the ticket you want not in the online list? When you arrive at the museum, go to the cash desk to get your ticket. Remember to have the necessary documentation with you.
Is it mandatory to book a ticket for your child?
Yes. Children also need a ticket to visit the museum.
Do you need to book online if you have a Museum Pass or a Brussels Card?
Yes, we ask you to book a timeslot in advance via our website. When you arrive at the museum, please go to the cash desk with your Museum Pass or Brussels Card for verification.
Did you buy your ticket from another online platform such as Tiqets.com, Get Your Guide, Viator/TripAdvisor, etc.?
If so, you need to exchange your voucher at the cash desk.
You would like to come earlier/later than the indicated time slot on your ticket. Is that possible?
If you arrive earlier/later, we cannot guarantee your access to the museum. We only let in a limited number of visitors per time slot in order to ensure visitor and staff safety. We very much appreciate your arriving during the time slot on your ticket.
What are the opening times?
We have kept our normal opening hours and days. You can consult them here.
When is the best time to visit the museum?
Unfortunately, there is no answer as this can vary. When you buy your ticket, the maximum number of visitors permitted in the museum is automatically taken into account.
Can you visit the museum with someone else?
You can visit our beautiful museum with your flat-/housemate(s) or family. However, remember to stand at least 1.5 metres from other visitors.
Can you use the elevators?
Elevators are open for use by only one person at a time.
Can you still use the toilets?
The toilets remain open and are cleaned and disinfected several times a day. Social distancing must also be maintained in toilet facilities.
Are wheelchairs still available?
Yes, we still lend wheelchairs. Wheelchairs are systematically cleaned after use by our cleaning team and used on a last-in-last-out basis.
Should you wear a face mask?
From Saturday July 11, 2020, wearing a mask in museums is mandatory for visitors over 12 years old. Thank you to carry yours during your visit to Train World.
No face masks are available at Train World.
